How To Boost Up your Windows 8

1 . Easy Shutdown

To shut down your Windows 8 PC, you have to bring up the menu click on Settings, click on Power and then you have to select Shut down. You can avoid this round about process by creating a shortcut for ‘Shut down’ and pinning it to taskbar of your Windows 8.When you are in desktop mode, right click and from their menu select New shortcut. A window will open, type there ‘shutdown’. Enter a name for the shortcut. You can call it ‘Shutdown’ or anything else .Select an icon for the new shortcut and save it. You can then click on this shortcut to shutdown the system directly. For more  easy access, drag it on to the taskbar to pin it there.

2. Disable Time-Wasting Animations

Windows 8 (display animations when you minimize, maximize, open, or close application windows. The animations are slick eye-candy, but they do introduce a delay. You can disable the animations and window transitions will happen instantly, eliminating the delay. To disable the animations, press the Windows key, type System Performance Properties, and press Enter. Uncheck the Animate windows when minimizing and maximizing option. You may also want to disable some of the other animations, such as the Fade or slide menus into view and Fade or slide Tool Tips into view. This will make menus and tool tips snap to attention instead of fading in with an animation.

3.Keep an eye on your system functioning

This is the point which most users will ignore until something faulty happens to their systems. Windows 8 comes with quite a few tools to monitor and diagnose software and hardware problems well before they happen.
